Shipping
I hand-make all jewellery after you order.
This means that once you place your order each piece requires the time to be hand-made and personalised by me, sent to the Assay Office for hallmarking (if required) and then the final stages of finishing and polish before being dispatched to you.
Current order to dispatch times are always stated in the website header, so please do check this before ordering.
If you require your item more urgently than this, please contact me on hello@aujune.com to see if this is possible before you order.
All items under £150 can be shipped via Royal Mail 48hr Tracked Delivery or Special Signed for Delivery. All items over £150 are sent by Special Signed for Delivery. We do not offer Royal Mail 48hr Tracked delivery as an option on items over £150 due to the value of the product.
Royal Mail 48hr Tracked is £3.95. You will receive a tracking number. Your item will be posted through your letterbox and does not need to be signed for. It should arrive within 48 hours of receiving your dispatch email.
Special Delivery is £6.95. You will receive a tracking number. Someone must be in to sign for and receive this delivery, otherwise, a calling card will be pushed through your letterbox to rearrange delivery. It should arrive before 1pm the day after you receive your dispatch notification.
No, I do not currently ship to Northern Ireland.
No, we do not currently ship to countries within the EU.
Yes, I ship to the USA and Australia using Tracked International delivery. Postage costs will be calculated at checkout depending on your location and value of your order. You will receive a tracking number. Your order should arrive within 5-14 days of dispatch.
We cannot be held responsible for items that are delayed via customs entering the country.
For orders outside the UK, the buyer is solely responsible for paying any customs charges / import duty.
When your order has been dispatched you will receive a an email confirming this, which will also contain tracking information.
All parcels can be tracked online at: https://www.royalmail.com/track-your-item
Our parcels will not fit through the letterbox.
Items shipped by Royal Mail 48hr Tracked Delivery need you to be in to receive the delivery, or you can designate a safe space if you are not going to be in. You can designate your safe space when you receive your tracking details.
If your order is sent by Special Signed for Delivery someone must be in to sign for and receive this delivery, otherwise, a calling card will be left, enabling you to rearrange delivery.
Very occasionally parcels may get caught up in the postal system. If you think your order may be delayed or lost, I will do all I can to help. Please contact me on hello@aujune.com with your order number if you have not received your parcel within 10 days of receiving your dispatch confirmation email.
Please ensure that your delivery address is correct at checkout. Refunds cannot be issued for items sent to the wrong address. If, when you receive your order confirmation email that you have entered your address incorrectly, please email me on hello@aujune.com as soon as possible and I can rectify this (providing your item has not already been dispatched).
Returns
I hope that you love your new aujune jewellery, which is made by hand to the highest standards and undergoes a thorough quality check before leaving my studio.
Personalised items that are ordered with your choice of name, message or another customised aspect that makes the item unique to your requirements are not eligible for a replacement or refund (unless faulty or an error in personalisation has been made by me) as they cannot be resold.
Personalised items are hand-stamped, meaning that variations between spacing, depth and alignment will occur. This does not constitute a design fault.
Any unpersonalised items are eligible for a replacement or refund, providing they are returned to me unused, in the same condition that you received them in with the original packaging.
All sale items are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, except in the case of faulty or damaged goods. This does not affect your statutory rights. Sale items are final and cannot be altered or customised after purchase.
To discuss a return with me please contact me on hello@aujune.com within 14 days of receipt of your item(s). Once your return has been confirmed by me, you then have 14 days to return the items so that I can process your exchange/refund. Please see further details below under “How Can I Return My Items?”.
Please note that if you are returning the item because you have changed your mind, you will be responsible for paying for your own postage costs for returning the item and that the original shipping costs are non-refundable.
I do not take responsibility for or replace any jewellery that has not been cared for appropriately as per the recommendations in the care guide.
The following items are non-cancellable, non-refundable and non-exchangeable:
- Personalised items that are ordered with your choice of name, message or another customised aspect that makes the item unique to your requirements and therefore cannot be re-sold.
- For hygiene reasons, I am unable to accept returns on earrings.
- All sale items.
The above is true, except in the case of faulty or damaged goods.
This does not affect your statutory rights. If you believe your item is faulty or has been damaged in transit, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order. Sale items are final and cannot be altered or customised after purchase.
I give each item a thorough quality check before they are sent to you. There may be rare occasions where a fault is missed, or an item becomes damaged in transit. If you receive a faulty or damaged item, you must notify me within 6 months to receive a refund or replacement.
Please email me on hello@aujune.com with your order number and a photo of the item to organise a return and refund/replacement.
Please do not attempt to repair an item yourself as this will void your warranty.
It is rare that an incorrect order is sent. If this does happen, please let me know within 14 days from the date of purchase and I can organise for the item to be returned and the correct item to be sent. The item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it and in the original packaging. Please email hello@aujune.com to organise this.
If you have ordered the incorrect ring size I can offer a refund or an exchange, providing that the ring is not personalised in any way. To organise a return please see details below under “How Can I Return My Items?”.
If your ring is personalised, I may be able to resize it, depending on the style and size required. Contact me on hello@aujune.com to discuss this. Please note that there would be a resizing charge for this service.
I recommend checking your ring size before ordering any of my rings to avoid disappointment and having to send your item back to me. You can do this using the advice in my free Ring Size Guide.
Please note that if you are returning the item because you have ordered the incorrect ring size, you will be responsible for paying for the associated postage costs.
Every piece is thoroughly checked before it leaves my studio, but if you notice that I have made an error with your personalisation please contact me on hello@aujune.com and I will organise for the piece to be returned so that I can rectify this for you.
However, if the error is due to a mistake made when ordering and the personalisation received matches what is stated on the order form, I unfortunately cannot offer an exchange or refund. For this reason please ensure you triple check your order before submitting it.
However, do still get in touch with me. I will have to charge for any amendments but I may be able to rectify the error without the need for a complete replacement.
If you have realised after placing your order that you have made an error, please email me as soon as possible on hello@aujune.com and I can see if I can help. If your order has not yet been made, I can amend your personalisation requirements.
To begin the return/exchange process please email hello@aujune.com with the following information:
- Your name
- Your order number
- Your reason for wanting a return/exchange
- A photo of the item if returning due damage or a fault
- Whether you want a return or an exchange, and if an exchange - what product you’d like instead.
If you are returning the item because you have changed your mind, you will be responsible for paying for your own postage costs for returning the item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
If you are returning the item because it is damaged, faulty or the incorrect item was sent, aujune will cover all of the associated return shipping costs and I will provide instructions on what you need to do.
You are be responsible for your returns package until it arrives safely at my studio. Please ensure you send safely to avoid any loss or damage and obtain/retain proof of postage. I recommend using Royal Mail’s Special Delivery Service.
Once your return is received and inspected, I will send you an email to notify you that I have received your returned item and what will happen next.
I aim to process all returned orders within 14 working days. All refunds will be credited to the original payment method.
In the case of repairs/replacements, it may take longer to return your item to you depending on the time of year and the work that needs doing.
Hand-making and Personalisation
All of my pieces are hand-made to order, meaning that variations to the images shown on the website may occur.
On personalised items, each character is individually hand-stamped into the metal using a hammer and steel stamp rather than machine engraved. This means that there are sometimes subtle differences in character spacing, depth and alignment. This makes each piece completely unique.
Variations in hand stamping do not constitute a design fault.
If you want a more ‘perfect’ look to your jewellery, hand-made and hand-stamped jewellery may not be the correct choice for you.
Yes, all of my pieces can be purchased with no personalisation if you wish. Personalisations can always be added for you at a later date.
This depends on the piece and what personalisation was added initially. I have noted in the product listings if a piece offers this flexibility.
If you would like to discuss adding additional rings/discs/personalisation to your existing aujune jewellery please contact me on hello@ajune.com.
Each character is individually hand-stamped into the metal using a hammer and steel stamp rather than machine engraved. This means that there are sometimes subtle differences in character spacing, depth and alignment.
This makes each piece completely unique - just like the memories it carries.
Variations in hand stamping do not constitute a design fault.
Product Sizing
Ring sizes are measured alphabetically from A to Z+9 in the UK.
All of my rings are made to order and can be ordered to your specific size.
If you are unsure of your ring size, I recommend checking it before ordering.
Information on how to do this can be found in my Ring Sizing Guide.
Gifting
I do not currently offer a gift wrapping service.
Yes. You can purchase a Gift Card here.
The gift voucher will be emailed to you. Physical gift cards are not currently available.
To redeem a gift voucher, simply enter the gift code in your gift voucher email in the ‘Gift card/discount code’ box at checkout.
Materials & Hallmarking
I use Recycled 925 Sterling Silver or Recycled 9ct Gold to make all of my pieces.
You can find out more information about the materials and suppliers I use here.
A hallmark is a set of stamped marks applied by the Assay Office to precious metals, including Silver and Gold. Items bearing a hallmark mean that they have been independently tested and confirmed that they conform to all legal standards of purity. The hallmark also shows you where the piece was hallmarked, what metal the item is made from, who made the item and the year it was made.
In the UK, all precious metal jewellery items over a certain weight legally require hallmarking, including:
Gold items weighing 1.0g and over
Sterling Silver items weighing 7.78g and over.
The video below provides further information on hallmarking.
You can also find out more about hallmarking here.
All of my jewellery is hallmarked by the London Assay Office according to the current UK hallmarking regulations. This means that all of my Sterling Silver pieces weighing 7.78g and over and all of my 9ct Gold pieces weighing 1.0g and over are hallmarked with the full UK hallmark.
I note on each product listing whether the item is hallmarked or not.
If there is an item that I do not currently hallmark as standard that you would like hallmarking, I can organise this for you - I would just need to pass the hallmarking cost onto you. Please email me on hello@aujune.com if you would like to discuss this.

Jewellery Care, Repair & Warranty
All sterling silver jewellery can tarnish over time. This is a natural process that occurs when the silver reacts with sulphur or hydrogen sulphide in the air. This reaction causes a black or brown discolouration on the surface of the silver. Tarnishing can be accelerated by exposure to humidity, sweat, perfume, cosmetics, cleaning products or other chemicals.
Solid 9ct gold jewellery is durable and resistant to tarnishing so you can wear it almost all of the time, however caution should still be taken when wearing your jewellery around harsher chemicals and cleaning products or during activity that could damage or scratch the piece.
To prevent tarnishing and keep your gold and silver jewellery looking its best please follow the recommendations in my Jewellery Care Guide.
Please read my Jewellery Care Guide for full details on how I recommend you store and care for your silver and gold jewellery to keep it looking at its best.
Each of my items is covered by our 6-month warranty from the date of purchase. This covers faults – such as loose posts on earrings and clasps on chains. In these rare instances, I can repair or replace the item free of charge.
The 6-month warranty is void if damage is caused by customer mis-use and the item has clearly not been cared for appropriately. This includes damage caused by inappropriate storage, perfumes, chemicals, water, heat exposure, putting chains and links under tension and general wear and tear. Tarnishing or discolouration are not faults but natural reactions that are sped up through inappropriate care.
Please do not attempt to repair an item yourself as this will void your warranty.
My Care Guide and Care Cards provide information on how best to care for and store your jewellery.
Any damage to any items that exceed 6-months cannot be repaired under this warranty. However I may be able to help you via my repair service (more details below).
Yes. Even if your jewellery is outside of my warranty period, or is damaged by mis-use, I can still help you via my repair service. Please contact me on hello@aujune.com with details of the damage, including photographs, and I will discuss with you the best way to get your items looking as good as new again.
Please note that there will be a charge for any repairs/replacements made outside of the scope/duration of the warranty. This varies by item and is dependent on the damage to be repaired. I will discuss this with you when you email me.
Sterling silver jewellery can oxidise when exposed to air, humidity, sweat, perfume, cosmetics or other chemicals and is therefore prone to tarnishing over time.
Firstly, I recommend reading my care guide and following my cleaning guidance to see if you can bring your jewellery back to life without needing to send it back to me. In most cases, light tarnish can easily be removed at home using a polishing cloth.
However, if you are unable to do this yourself I can help. Please contact me on hello@aujune.com and I can discuss this with you. Please note that there will be a charge for any jewellery that is sent back to me to be cleaned. This varies by item and is dependent on the cleaning required - I will discuss this with you when you email me.
This depends on what type of earring it is. To see if I can help please contact me at hello@aujune.com with details of the earrings, including a photo.
